Gas pipeline fitter • Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
