Urgent requirement: overlocker operator (Ondo State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Akure North, Ondo State. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
