Fabricator-welder wanted in Saint James Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Part-time with flexible hours.
