Banksman — Richland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Richland County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy construction site. You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Part-time with flexible hours.
