Now hiring: we are hiring a tile roofer in Tazewell County, Illinois. The job is on commercial flat-roof projects. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Day-to-day duties: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Rotating shifts.
