We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
