Stainless steel welder wanted in Pembina County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Pembina County, North Dakota. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off.
