Shopfront glazier — Vermilion Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. The role involves: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
