Lifting rigger wanted in Charles County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Charles County, Maryland. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
