Vacancy available: elevator service technician (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Six days a week, one day off.
