You should have: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) The role involves: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
