Great opportunity: fettler (Montana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Park County, Montana. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift. $2,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
