Immediate opening: site carpenter (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Huerfano County, Colorado. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
