Powder coating operator • Franklin Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Your main tasks: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
