We are recruiting: we are hiring a truck driver in Clay County, Alabama. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. You will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
