Employee transport driver wanted in Herkimer County

Now hiring: we are hiring an employee transport driver in Herkimer County, New York. The job is at a school transport service. On the job you will handle: • Check engine oil, coolant and washer fluid levels before each shift • Make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off • Maintain an accurate headcount against the passenger manifest • Follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable • Carry out pre-trip checks on tyres, brakes, lights and mirrors • Keep a daily trip log and record mileage and fuel used What we are looking for: • Valid commercial/PSV driving licence (LMV/HMV as required) • Basic vehicle maintenance know-how 5+ years on the tools preferred. $8,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
