Sheet metal welder — Obion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Obion County, Tennessee. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
