Steel fixer • Dutsi, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Dutsi, Katsina State. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. ₦7,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
