Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
