Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Logan County, Colorado. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
