Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Todd County, Kentucky. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads.
