Machine operator (earthworks) • Vernon County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Vernon County, Wisconsin. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
