Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Warwickshire, England. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
