Sample machinist • Franklin County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Franklin County, Mississippi. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
