System formwork carpenter • Tate County, Mississippi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Tate County, Mississippi. You will be based on a residential tower site. Day to day you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Full-time with occasional weekends.
