Argon arc welder — Cumberland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Cumberland County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
