Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Alkaleri, Bauchi State. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Six days a week, one day off.
