Finishing plasterer • Isle of Wight, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Isle of Wight, England. You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline On a typical shift you will skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; check walls for plumb and level as you go; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
