Gas pipe fitter • Gonzales County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Gonzales County, Texas. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches 5+ years on the tools preferred.
