Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Hardin County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
