Great opportunity: aluminium tig welder (Delta State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Aniocha South, Delta State. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job.
