Urgent requirement: we are hiring a painter and decorator in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will work at a property maintenance company. Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day On the job you will handle: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities Six days a week, one day off.
