Bar bender and fixer • Hampshire County, Massachusetts

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
