Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Franklin County, Illinois. The job is at a busy production line. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
