Retail butcher wanted in Dinwiddie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
