Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Isin, Kwara State. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust.
