Gas service engineer — Chowan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Chowan County, North Carolina. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
