Tyre bay technician • Muscatine County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Muscatine County, Iowa. You will be based at a car service centre. Your main tasks: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches You should have: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
