We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in McCreary County, Kentucky. The role involves weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
