Immediate opening: dry lining plasterer (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. The job is on a busy domestic building site. You will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
