Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Sumner County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
