Urgent requirement: industrial sewing operator (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Marion County, Florida. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line.
