Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems The role involves form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear.
