Safety marshal — Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Lincoln County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
