Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Kosciusko County, Indiana. You will be based at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
