Gas metal arc welder wanted in McLean County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in McLean County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Meals and transport allowance provided.
