Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Essex, England. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
