Rebar worker • Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $32 per hour plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
