Urgent requirement: gantry crane operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in San Patricio County, Texas. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
