Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Greene County, Iowa. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will take site measurements of openings before fabrication; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. You should have: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
